Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O'Connell are new parents -- times two!
Dolly Rebecca Rose and Charlie Tamara Tulip -- yes, they're both girls -- were born Dec. 28. The newborns are the first children for the couple.
The new mom, whose pregnancy cravings included lemonade and soy cream cheese, is planning a long maternity leave from her transsexual Ugly Betty duties.
"I'm taking quite a bit of time off," Romijn told People in November. "I really want this to be my job for at least the next six months."
The couple have been very vocal about their excitement over the start of their family. According to US Weekly, Romijn referred to having babies as a dream, saying, “I was never a girl who dreamed about what her wedding day would be like, but I’ve always dreamed about decorating my baby’s nursery.”
O’Connell, for his part, joked to the magazine that he only wants his girls to date “men who run countries.”
