This is the year of Rosie O'Donnell. Not only did the Hollywood star launch The Rosie Show in October on the OWN network (basically jumpstarting her otherwise stagnant career), but now she's fallen in love as well -- and it looks like this one's for keeps. According to People magazine, the TV host is now engaged to her steady girlfriend, Michelle Rounds. O'Donnell broke the news to her studio audience during a taping of her show this morning amid a series of commercial breaks. Her rep later confirmed the exciting news.
The duo met earlier this year at a Starbucks, which O'Donnell frequently jokes about, saying that her "gaydar was way off" that day since she originally thought Rounds was a 28-year-old straight woman, when really she was a 40-year-old gay woman. No specific details about the wedding's location or date were released yet, but I'm sure it's only a matter of time. Congrats to the happy couple! I guess it goes to show that you're never too old to fall in love!
