Rosie soon to be Miami denizen

HOLLYWOOD - A Miami Beach crowd at a charity event were the first to hear Rosie O'Donnell's big news: she's moving to Miami, reports People. "On May 22, 2002, when the contract for my TV show ends, I will be a full-time Miami resident." She made her announcement at an event for CHARLEE (Children Have All Rights--Legal, Education and Emotional). CHARLEE is one of O'Donnell's pet charities--she serves as national spokeswoman--and one of the reasons O'Donnell appeared in Florida. "We need money. Florida is very, very under-funded when it comes to children in need." O'Donnell, a magazine publisher as well as talk-show host, already owns a home on a tony, exclusive island in Biscayne Bay.
