HOLLYWOOD - Illusionist Roy Horn recently paid his first visit to a Las Vegas, Nevada, arenasince being mauled onstage by a tiger almost two years ago.
Horn, accompanied by his partner Siegfried Fischbacher and casino mogul Steve
Wynn, "methodically" walked about 100 yards into a Thursday evening
performance at Wynn's new resort the Wynn Las Vegas.
Horn, who was partially paralyzed when a large white tiger attacked him and
dragged him by the neck during a Siegfried & Roy performance, has been walking
without the aid of a rolling walker after months of six-to-eight-hour days in
physical rehabilitation, according to his longtime manager Bernie Yuman.
Yuman adds that Horn and some friends were preparing to mark Horn's 61st
birthday on Oct. 3--the second anniversary of the attack.
He says, "We're going to continue to celebrate his birthday and his life."
