Rumor: Reitman in for Ghostbusters 3

A very big (but uncomfirmed) rumor circling is that original Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters II director, Ivan Reitman, is attached to helm Ghostbusters III; the third sequel in the iconic franchise

The good folks at Blood Disgusting say they have it on good word that Reitman absolutely be back to direct. Reitman had told MTV back in June that he'd been talking to both Harold Ramis and Dan Akroyd so this shouldn't be too big a shock. However Reitman has been off the directing radar since 2006's awful My Super Ex-Girlfriend.

Most of the original gang has already confirmed their involvement in Ghostbusters III including Ramis, Akroyd, Bill Murray, Ernie Hudson, Rick Moranis and Sigourney Weaver .
