Maybe it's the home video-style of cinematography, maybe it's the presence of children as the central characters rather than adults, or maybe it's the inclusion of an age-old urban legend that my big sister used to terrify me with when I was young, but this trailer for Paranormal Activity 3 makes the upcoming movie look pretty authentically scary. Boding well for the movie is that it was made by the same people who developed the documentary Catfish, an intelligently horrifying-in-its-own-right account of the human condition.
