After that second Sex and the City movie, a few of us Sarah Jessica Parker fans are a little jaded. She burned us and she burned us good. Now she's headed back into theaters with I Don't Know How She Does It, which finds her as a high-powered hedge-fund manager who works too much, has two young kids she doesn't see enough of, a sweet husband (Greg Kinnear) she's never awake enough to get down to business with, and a boss (Kelsey Grammer) whose scolding is easily curtailed by any mention of lady parts or problems with said lady parts. I want to like it, I want desperately for this movie to wash the bad taste out of our mouths from her last Carrie Bradshaw romp, but I'm still wary. There's a hell of a lot of voice over, a hell of a lot of cliche, and a little too much of the "men and women are like, so different" idea. On the flip side, it's chock full of people we love like Seth Meyers, Christina Hendricks and Busy Phillips. So, my guess is it will either be a lovely little chick flick or one of those movies you'll have to watch with your parents next time you visit.
