Sneak Peek: 'Safe House' Clips Pit Ryan Reynolds Against Denzel Washington

Safe HouseThis Friday, Safe House, starring Ryan Reynolds and Denzel Washington, breaks free into theaters. Reynolds plays Matt Weston, a young CIA agent assigned to watch over fugitive Tobin Frost (Washington) in a safe house in Africa, protecting the criminal from those who want him dead, and protecting the world from the criminal. Weston is at odds with everyone and everything that crosses his path, but he has no choice but to see his mission through to the end.

Weston begins to realize he has two problems on his hands: Tobin Frost, the fugitive he is supposed to watch over, and the men who are out to capture Frost. Clearly, the stress gets to him.

Weston realizes that he’s not only endangering himself with his high-risk job, but the people he loves as well. Thus, he makes the difficult choice to bid his girlfriend (Nora Arnezeder) goodbye.

It is imperative that you never engage in hand-to-hand combat with an infamous fugitive while driving a car. Unfortunately, Weston is not privy to this vital survival tip.

And it all goes to hell when Weston loses Frost and is apprehended by the feds. But even handcuffed, the young cop can handle his own.
