HOLLYWOOD - Arnold Schwarzenegger has been released from hospital in Santa Monica, California, after he was involved in a motorcycle crash near his home in Brentwood yesterday afternoon.
The movie star-turned-California Governor was out riding on his Harley Davidson bike with his 12-year-old son Patrick in the sidecar when he collided with a car reversing from a driveway.
The Terminator star was taken to St. John's Hospital in Santa Monica where he received 15 stitches in his lower lip. Patrick was also treated for cuts and bruises.
Schwarzenegger was recovering from the accident at home last night.
He is expected to speak about healthcare issues at a meeting in North Hollywood later today.
