HOLLYWOOD - Senator Patrick Leahy has snagged a cameo role in the upcoming Batman sequel The Dark Knight.
The Vermont Democrat, a longtime Batman fan, has already filmed his scene, in which he appears alongside stars Christian Bale, Heath Ledger and Michael Caine.
He says, "It's a pretty tense scene. It's going to be a very interesting one. I don't wear tights."
The Dark Knight isn't the first Batman movie Leahy has appeared in--he briefly appeared as himself in 1997's Batman & Robin.
