Tom Sizemore Pleads Not Guilty to Drug Charges

Tom Sizemore
HOLLYWOOD - Troubled actor Tom Sizemore has pleaded not guilty to five charges stemming from his arrest on suspicion of using crystal methamphetamine earlier this month.

The Saving Private Ryan star was taken into custody when cops searched a car he was sitting in outside a hotel in Bakersfield, California, on May 8, allegedly finding two bags of the drug and pipes.

At a court hearing in Bakersfield, California, yesterday, Sizemore denied one count each of transportation and possession of methamphetamines, and three counts of possession of prescription drugs without the proper prescription.

The 45-year-old is next in court for a preliminary hearing on June 18.

In October 2004, Sizemore was convicted of methamphetamine possession. The following year, his probation was revoked after he admitted faking a drug test.

The actor tested positive for drug use in January 2006--he was given three years probation and ordered to submit to weekly drug tests.

In 2003, he was found guilty of domestic violence against his ex-girlfriend, former Hollywood madam Heidi Fleiss.
