HOLLYWOOD - Disgraced movie star Tom Sizemore has been handed the best Christmas present--his freedom.
The Black Hawk Down star has been released from prison eight months early.
He was jailed for 16 months last year for violating his probation in relation to a 2004 methamphetamine conviction.
Sizemore was released from a Kern County, California, prison on Dec. 10 after being awarded 213 days’ credit for time already spent behind bars and in court-imposed rehabilitation, reports Web site TMZ.com.
The 45-year-old star had admitted violating his probation when police found two bags of crystal methamphetamine and pipes in his possession during an arrest last month in Bakersfield, California.
