We’re nearing that time again; it's midseason on network television and with that comes a crop of new shows to keep us entertained. Over at NBC, they’ve got two new programs to add to their line-up starting in January, Perfect Couples and The Cape. We’ve got sneak peaks of the new shows, but first, let’s take a look at Saturday’s upcoming episode of SNL with Paul Rudd returning to host the sketch show a second time.
Watch as the infinitely lovable Mr. Rudd gets silly with SNL cast member Andy Samberg (a little awkward after his last visit, don’t you think?) to promote his hosting gig. If the episode’s anything like these promos, we’re in for some fun this Saturday Night.
To add to the already hilarious Thursday night line-up of Community, 30 Rock and The Office on Thursday nights, NBC’s adding another comedy to the funny night. Perfect Couples delves into the difficult lives of married couples and gives video game nerds more of their beloved Olivia Munn. Take a look at the sneak peak here.
Finally, for the Sunday night vacancy left by the now on-hiatus hit, The Walking Dead, NBC is swooping in to pick up the abandoned viewers with The Cape. Another comic book inspired show, The Cape follows a man who gets delt a bad hand and reacts by taking inspiration from one of his favorite childhood comic books. This could be good.
