HOLLYWOOD - Controversial TV cartoon South Park pokes fun at Steve Irwin in a new episode, by portraying the late Crocodile Hunter with a stringray sticking out of his chest less than two months after he died.
In an episode titled “Hell on Earth 2006,” to be screened this week, Irwin is seen hosting a Halloween party with guests including Adolf Hitler and Diana, Princess of Wales.
Irwin was killed by a stingray barb off the coast of Queensland, Australia, on Sept. 4 while filming a segment for his daughter's new TV show.
A spokesperson for the satirical cartoon says, "We have offended people in the past and probably will again. We know that regular watchers will not be shocked."
