Britney Spears
' career is headed down a new path -- one that won’t include her former manager Osama “Sam” Lutfi and ex-boyfriend Adnan Ghalib.

The pop star and her father Jamie, who is also her legal conservator, obtained a restraining order against the duo today, according to the Associated Press.
An anonymous source tells the AP that Lutfi and friends were trying to “gain control of Spears’ affairs.”

Attorney Jon Eardley was also named in the order for attempting to take her conservatorship case to federal court and claiming to represent the star.

Back in July, Spears and her father passed on renewing a restraining order against Lutfi, who was at one time accused by family of drugging her. At the time her attorney Samuel D. Ingham III released a statement saying, "Britney has made clear to everyone that she does not want to be further harassed or contacted in any way by Osama 'Sam' Lutfi, now or at anytime in the future."

Spears, who was placed under conservatorship a year ago Sunday, has been on a fast-track to success with her new album Circus and an upcoming tour. A clear change from her time spent with Lutfi and paparazzo Ghalib.
