HOLLYWOOD - Britney Spears celebrated her impending divorce from husband Kevin Federline by reconciling with her former manager Larry Rudolph in New York City yesterday.
The “Toxic” singer fired Rudolph--who has guided her pop career since "discovering" Spears when she was 13--in October 2004 following her marriage to Federline.
According to reports at the time, Rudolph disapproved of Federline and urged Spears to sign a pre-nuptial agreement to protect her millions of dollars, which she did.
Following their parting, Spears said, "We had a great run and I appreciate Larry's guidance over the years."
However, after the pop star filed for divorce from the aspiring rapper on Monday, she joined Rudolph for an evening ice-skating session at Manhattan's Rockefeller Center.
When asked how she was feeling following her marriage breakdown, Spears said, "I'm doing OK."
Spears and Federline married on Oct. 6--not Sept. 18, 2004, as originally thought--after a whirlwind six-month courtship. They have two young sons together, Sean Preston, 14 months, and Jayden James, two months.
