Star Jones Files for Divorce

HOLLYWOOD - TV personality Star Jones has filed for divorce from her husband of three years, Al Reynolds.
The former View talk-show host, 46, filed the notice on March 26 at Manhattan's Supreme Court in New York, which was subsequently labeled an "uncontested matrimonial" case by officials.
In a statement released to news show Entertainment Tonight, Jones says: "Several years ago I made an error in judgment by inviting the media into the most intimate area of my life. A month ago I filed for divorce.
"The dissolution of a marriage is a difficult time in anyone's life that requires privacy with one's thoughts. I have committed myself to handling this situation with dignity and grace and look forward to emerging from this period as a stronger and wiser woman."
Jones and Reynolds wed on Nov. 13, 2004, in a lavish New York City ceremony, which came under scrutiny after she plugged the nuptials' corporate sponsors at length on her talk show.
