HOLLYWOOD - A galaxy of Hollywood stars, including Paul Newman, Reese Witherspoon and Nancy Sinatra, have donated thousands of dollars to Senator Hillary Clinton's political campaign.

Clinton, who is fundraising for the Democratic Party, intends to use the money, which now stands at an impressive $17.1 million, for a presidential bid.

Newman and his wife Joanne Woodward both donated $2,000, while Walk the Line beauty Witherspoon gave $1,000 alongside Edie Falco and Danny DeVito, according to the New York Post.

Chat-show host Jerry Springer gave the most to the cause--$4,200--while Sinatra gave a modest $200.
