HOLLYWOOD - Rod Stewart and Penny Lancaster have tied the knot in a low-key civil ceremony in Italy.
The rocker, 62, wed his long-term girlfriend, 36, on a yacht off the Italian Riviera resort of Portofino yesterday.
After the ceremony, the couple, who have been dating for eight years, headed to a stunning converted abbey for a blessing in front of close family and friends.
One of Stewart's bodyguards told journalists, "It was just a family thing."
The couple has an 18-month-old son, Alastair.
It was Stewart's third marriage--he was previously wed to Alana Hamilton and model Rachel Hunter.
