HOLLYWOOD - Singer Joss Stone has landed her first major acting role--as the homely wife of King Henry VIII on hit TV drama The Tudors.
The soul star will appear alongside actor Jonathan Rhys Meyers, who plays the British royal, as his fourth wife, Anne of Cleves.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the role is expected to be a brief one--as Henry was so unhappy with Anne's looks he annulled their marriage after six months.
