I’ll be the first to admit that I’m not the biggest fan of rape/revenge movies, Southerners treated like backwards fools (despite all the evidence to the contrary) and remakes. Especially if all three are in one (I’m looking at you, I Spit On Your Grave). And yet...
Straw Dogs looks pretty damn good.
Maybe it's the cast of James Marsden, Kate Bosworth and Alexander Skarsgard and a filmmaker that is competent (Rod Lurie). Who knows. What does matter is the trailer looks sweet as hell and I will be lining up for this film.
