Good news, everyone: only a week and change until John dies!
Don Coscarelli's upcoming mind-twister John Dies at the End, based on David Wong's comedic horror novel of the same name, is premiering at this year's Sundance Film Festival, and there's a new poster circulating to celebrate the imminent debut. Now, the poster may on its own look a bit bizarre, what with the Biblical themes entwined with the image of a bloody nailbat (I don't know if there is a more official terminology for this particular weapon). But if you've seen the trailer, embedded below, for John Dies at the End, then you know the strangeness is barely even touched upon in this artwork.
Because of this, John Dies at the End seems a bit intimidating. But more than that is it exciting. The story involves psychoactive drugs, hallucinations, murder, violence, conspiracies, people with clown faces, and alien-like monsters. I recommend getting in on the John Dies train. Especially since I am heavily doubting the veracity in that title.
