Superman Can't Help Bosworth Conquer Flying Fears

HOLLYWOOD - Actress Kate Bosworth was hoping Superman could help conquer her fear of flying--but she's still terrified of stepping on a plane.
The Blue Crush star plays Lois Lane in Superman Returns and realized a longtime dream to fly with the Man of Steel--but the experience still hasn't helped her get past her airplane fears.
She says, "I felt very lucky because I got to fly with Superman. How many people get to say that?
"But flying in an airplane is one of my biggest fears and, unfortunately, I have to do it a lot. I still worry about that."
Bosworth admits she wishes she could be as brave as she is in dreams--where she's flying--when she's boarding a plane.
She adds, "Flying dreams are my favorite ones. I have them very rarely but they're like little nuggets of gold when I have them because it's so much fun. It's amazing. I'd love to be able to fly."
