Respected stage and screen actress Julia Ormond is in talks to play the man of steel's (tights) actual mother, not the Earth mommy to be played by Diane Lane. Ormond would join Russell Crowe as Jor-El as they send off their only son to the yellow-sunned planet.
So, to recap, the two maternal figures in Superman’s life will be her and her. Oedipal complex anyone?
