Kiefer Sutherland has been cleared of headbutting a fashion designer after the case was dropped by officials.
The 24 star was accused of attacking stylist Jack McCollough for no reason in New York in May. McCollough was hospitalized with a broken nose after the alleged encounter.
Sutherland maintained he accosted the designer after he barged past actress friend Brooke Shields, who backed up the TV star's story, calling the incident "unfortunate."
Sutherland was due to appear in court on Friday to face the charges, but the trial date was pushed back until further notice.
Now the Manhattan District Attorney has scrapped the trial altogether because officials consider the accusations too small to be considered a level of criminal behavior.
