HOLLYWOOD - Rapper T-Pain is celebrating after landing five BET Award nominations to lead the pack of hopefuls at the upcoming hip-hop honors.
His big five include nods for Best Collaboration for his work with Chris Brown, Kanye West and Flo Rida, and he's nominated twice in the Video of the Year category.
Ironically, all five of his nominations are for collaborative work, not for his own hits.
West and Keyshia Cole received three nominations apiece, while Mary J. Blige, Alicia Keys and rapper Flo Rida will compete for two accolades when the BET Awards are staged in Los Angeles on June 24.
Al Green and Quincy Jones already know they're big winners at the BET Awards--soul icon Green will be honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award, while producer Jones will receive an award for his humanitarian work.
