A rep for the 33-year-old actress confirms she has entered Promises Treatment Center in Malibu. Details of her treatment have not been released, but the American Pie star will be spending Christmas and New Years at the facility.
“We appreciate your respect to her and her family’s privacy at this time,” her spokesman Jack Ketsoyan told People.com.
A friend also told the mag, “Her friends and family are supportive of her decision. She checked herself – it was her decision.”
The former party girl told reporters in October that she was merely a “social drinker” and that her wild ways were behind her.
“No. I’ve done it. Trust me. I’ve done enough for a lifetime of everything. I’ve had a great time. I partied. I had fun. I ate and drank whatever. I dated a million guys, but I’m so happy with where I’m at right now. I don’t need to do anything anymore.”
