Kim Kardashian made a trip to Minnesota last weekend to visit her soon-to-be ex-husband Kris Humphries. This of course drew much media speculation as to the purpose of her visit, which Kris Jenner graciously decided to clear up for us...well, sort of. The Kardashian matriarch explained that her daughter just "really needed to talk to him" about their issues and hash things out face-to-face. Jenner then explained how Kim has always wished for a fairy tale and that she has such a big heart, but she didn't really divulge if the trip was to facilitate the process of getting divorced. She simply said, "Whatever decisions Kim is making right now, she's a very smart girl and she's gonna do the right thing." This must be the part in the Kardashian script where they say things to make people think there's still hope for a reconciliation. - US
- After he was found guilty yesterday of involuntary manslaughter in the Michael Jackson trial, Dr. Conrad Murray was placed on suicide watch. A law enforcement official claims the staff were put on high alert to watch over the doctor to make sure he doesn't take his own life. In addition, Murray was deemed a "keep away inmate," meaning jail officials will take special precautions to keep him safe, including giving him his own private cell. Reports also state he will be assigned an escort to accompany him everywhere (including the shower) and he will not be allowed to interact with other inmates. I guess this means he shouldn't expect to make friends anytime soon. - Radar
- Adele recently had throat surgery to help cure her constant laryngitis (not throat cancer) and reports are stating that the procedure was a great success. The singer had what is called vocal cord microsurgery, which should put an end to the throat hemorrhages she's previously endured and the doctor, Steven Zeitels, expects the Grammy winner will make a full recovery. - E!
