This may be as teasing as teasers get, but
Game of Thrones
is worth some occasional frustration-fueled excitement. The second season of
Game of Thrones
inspires nothing but amazing optimism. It'll see the return of favorite actors
Peter Dinklage
and
Nikolaj Coster-Waldau
. It'll introduce us to promising newcomers like
Gemma Whalen as the renamed Asha Greyjoy
, as well as
Robert Pugh as Craster, Hannah Murray as his daughter/wife Gilly, and Michael McElhatton as Roose Bolton
.
What is most promising is HBO's dedication to the series:
the network pledged
to keep
Game of Thrones
going as long as it needs to go to tell its story, and to maintain a controlling stake in the story for George R. R. Martin.
So top-notch is the series, and all of the news attached to its second season, that even this brief clip gets our blood pumping.
