HOLLYWOOD - Catching up with Melora Hardin, aka Jan from The Office, at the Little Mermaid: Ariel’s Beginning premiere was a fortuitous thing. She ending up giving us just a snippet of what’s coming up for Jan in The Office:
“Jan is pregnant, so you’ll see her pregnancy a little bit and ultimately get to see what she’s like as a mother,” Hardin explains. “At the moment, [Michael] isn’t involved in any way, but he wants to be the surrogate dad, for sure, and he’s going to try his best to be involved in the kid’s life. And she’s going to let him do that. Then there’s also some wonderful tension between Jan and the new HR women (played by Amy Ryan).”
Oh, we can’t wait to see that cat fight! The Office’s one-hour season premiere begins Sept. 25 at 9/8c.
