When we last left Edward Cullen and Bella Swan, in the closing moments of 2009’s The Twilight Saga: New Moon, the glowering teen vampire and his mopey paramour were happily reunited, a marriage proposal was offered, and sensitive werewolf Jacob Black was sent home packing, his washboard abs no match for Edward’s sparkly marble skin. New Moon stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner are set to revisit their supernatural love triangle (in a chaste, PG-13 kinda way, of course) this summer in Eclipse, the third chapter of Stephenie Meyers’ harlequin saga.

Summit Entertainment today released a teaser trailer for Eclipse that features bits of everything fans expecting from a Twiliight flick -- namely, breathy Pattinson, shirtless Lautner, and pensive Stewart. But there's also a hint of the darker, action-movie tone promised by director David Slade (30 Days of Nighthem=), who succeeds New Moon's Chris Weitz at the helm:



The Twilight Saga: Eclipse also stars Dakota Fanning, Anna Kendrick, and Bryce Dallas Howard. It opens June 30, 2010.
