Fox has set an April 4, 2012, release date for The Three Stooges, Variety reports. That pits the Farrelly brothers-directed family comedy against American Reunion, The Cold Light of Day, starring Bruce Willis and Henry Cavill, and James Cameron's 3D re-release of Titanic.
The plot of Stooges centers on the titular oddball trio becoming involved in a murder scheme while trying to save their childhood home. Oh, and they'll also star in a reality show. All of which sounds uproariously funny. Playing the parts of Larry, Curly, and Moe will be Sean Hayes, Will Sasso, and Chris Diamantopoulos, respectively. The supporting cast includes Sofia Vergara, Larry David, Jennifer Hudson, and Jane Lynch.
