SANTA MONICA - All two of you who thought off-screen marrieds Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman made a hot on-screen couple in "Eyes Wide Shut" may now rejoice: The A-list couple reportedly is in talks to chew up scenery together in a London stage show. Now, the report in question does come from a British tab (the Express), so whatever. For what it's worth, the paper says Cruise and Kidman are looking at doing 'Tennessee Williams' scenery-chewing classic, "Cat on a Hot a Tin Roof." Theater vet (and Oscar-winning "American Beauty" director) Sam Mendes would direct.

In addition to "Eyes Wide Shut," Cruise and Kidman previously have showed off their non-chemisty in the films "Far and Away" and "Days of Thunder."
