'True Blood' Renewed for Fourth Season

ALTHBO continues to show who's boss in terms of phenomenal television programming, as Michael Ausiello reports the network has renewed 'True Blood' for a fourth season. It will premiere in the summer of 2011.

Just two episodes in to the third season, it's a relief to see how studio executives and members of the cast are looking to keep this good thing going as long as possible...especially since we've grown to depend on Sookie, Bill, and the writers have taken our cravings for sex and vampires and made them publicly acceptable. It's also hard to imagine what could possibly happen in the fourth season since we've just barely tapped into the third one, but it's a relief to hear we can continue to sit back, relax, and continue enjoyig the southern drawl without worrying it's going anywhere.

Of the renewal, producer Alan Ball said, "I am beyond thrilled to continue working with this amazing cast and crew. This is the most fun I have ever had." Luckily for him, the feeling's pretty mutual.
