While fans eagerly await the Nov. 21 release of
Twilight
, there is already good news on the horizon. Summit Entertainment is pushing the next three story installments into development.
Summit now has the rights to the next three books in
Stephenie Meyer
’s popular vampire series;
New Moon
,
Eclipse
and
Breaking Dawn
. According to
Reuters
, execs have assigned the first two adaptations to
Twilight
scribe
Melissa Rosenberg
, while
Breaking Dawn
remains unattached.
Twilight
revolves around a shy teen named Bella (
Kristen Stewart
) who falls for her classmate Edward (
Robert Pattinson
) only to find out later he is a vampire.
