Update: It has been discovered that Dunn had consumed a lot alcohol at Barnaby's of America in West Chester, PA before getting behind the wheel this morning. One of Dunn's friends said he had 3 Miller Lites and 3 "girly shots" between 10:30 PM and 2:10 AM but he was "not too drunk to drive." There's a bit of discrepancy as to whether or not this was indeed the case since an observer at the bar claims that Dunn was "wasted" and "had a lot to drink." Whose statement is accurate? Police believe that speed may have been a factor in causing the crash. All signs seem to suggest that this sad event was the cause of drunk driving.
Earlier: Today is a very sad to for all Jackass fans. It has been confirmed by Bam Margera's mother that Jackass star Ryan Dunn died in a car crash in Pennsylvania early this morning at the age of 34. Dunn and an unknown second victim both died in the crash around 3 a.m. at Route 322 and New Street in the West Goshen Township. No one is sure who was driving the car. Just hours before the accident occurred, Dunn tweeted a picture of him and some friends having a few drinks.
Dunn has appeared in all of the Jackass movies and was well liked by co-workers and viewers alike. His debut into show business is unlike any other - he shoved a toy car into his rectum as a stunt in the first movie in 2002. RIP Dunn - you will be missed!
