HOLLYWOOD - Though some viewers may have missed it when it aired against the World Series and the Emmys on Nov. 4, viewers now have a second shot a seeing NBC's recent WWII miniseries Uprising, which is set to hit stores on VHS and DVD on Dec. 18.

The DVD version of the miniseries--which tells the true story of the 1939 Jewish uprising against the Nazis in Poland's Warsaw Ghetto--will sport some impressive new features. A new "Making Of" documentary, entitled Breaking Down the Walls, reveals what the cast and crew had to go through to make the film authentic, and audio commentaries by director/producer Jon Avnet and stars Leelee Sobieski, David Schwimmer, Hank Azaria and Jon Voight are also included.

"This film has been seven years in the making," said Avnet in a recent press release promoting Uprising. "It has been a very, very long journey and a very enriching one personally."
