It's amazing what actors will do for their craft. Vanessa Hudgens has traded in her long locks in favor of a super short style for an upcoming movie she will be starring in called Gimme Shelter. The High School Musical star admits that the style is a huge change and makes her feel wise beyond her years stating, “Honestly, I kind of feel like a soccer mom, but we’re going to let that go...there’s nothing wrong with soccer moms, but I’m only 22!” Even though the actress had to make some sacrifices in the hair department she still considers this character to be a "dream" role. Hudgens describes her character saying, “I play this girl, who’s like homeless and she doesn’t care about her look very much. I kind of look like a boy throughout the whole movie." So you've basically compared your hair to a soccer mom and then follow that up with claiming that your character looks like a homeless boy. Interesting. See for yourself:
Not only did she cut off her beautifully long hair, but she did it herself! Hudgens admits to causing the demise of her hair, confessing “I grabbed the scissors and started cutting my actual hair and then my director decided that he was going to grab the scissors, he grabs a chunk of my hair and just chops it." Bold move...or a crazy one, I'm still deciding. Does the actress miss her old do? The star says, “I miss [my hair,] believe me, I do, but there’s nothing I can do about it."
