Update: New Trailer for 'The Walking Dead' Premieres

Rick Gun Walking Dead SophiaUpdate: The powers that be have removed the previously-mentioned 4-minute clip, but thankfully, we've got a brand new trailer for The Walking Dead to replace it. If you're so inclined, you can read the minimal description of the removed footage, but you should probably just watch the new trailer, because it's pretty great at setting us up for the series' return. We find gun blazing, car chases and plenty of tired, worn out faces. "The Running Alive" (get it?) airs Feb. 12 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on AMC.

Earlier:
The Walking Dead returns Feb. 12 on AMC, but for now, we can get a little taste of what we're in for with the first four minutes of the midseason premiere. We left off with Shane going ballistic, unleashing Hershel's barn of walkers and subsequently mowing them down before one last walker emerges. Little Sophia, the girl they spent six episodes searching for, came out of the barn, forcing Rick to finally do the tough thing and shoot her. The premiere picks up right after the midseason finale's final shot and unleashes a wave of tears - and the usual zombie-laden surprise. Plus, it seems that this debacle has only increased the explosive anger between Shane and Rick.
