HOLLYWOOD - Vin Diesel suffered for his art on the set of upcoming courtroom drama Find Me Guilty--because he wasn't allowed to work out in the gym. The toned tough guy plays a mobster on trial in the new film and had to develop "a gut" for the role, so he was forced to give up his training regime and gain 30 pounds.
He says, "I sat in a room for weeks doing nothing; just eating and becoming my character. For me to go that long without working out, and not having the body that I built my identity around, drove me pretty close to crazy for a
while.
"But it was fun walking around... parading my gut for the cast."
