There are some men out there who are so bad-ass that they wouldn’t only kick my ass in a fight, I would let them. It would be such a non-contest that it would be an honor to have my ass handed to me on a silver platter by guys like Ving Rhames.
What does getting in a fight with Ving Rhames have to do with him landing the lead in the new pilot Black Jack? Not much. Actually, it has nothing to do with the new Comedy Central pilot from David Gordon Green and the guys behind Eastbound and Down (Danny McBride, Jody Hill, and Matt Reilly). Well it kind of has something to do with the story, which finds Rhames as a most bad-ass government agent who takes a step too far and is decommissioned. I guess that character could also beat me up, but he’s fictional so that won’t be happening anytime soon. But Ving Rhames? He’s real and he can beat me to a pulp. Glad we cleared that up.
