Wahlberg and Kormakur to Reunite for '2 Guns'

Mark Wahlberg and director Baltasar Kormakur had such a smashing time making the forthcoming action flick Contraband, they've decided to team up again on a new venture. Variety reports that the two have signed on for 2 Guns, an action comedy based on a graphic novel by Stephen Grant which follows the exploits of a DEA agent and naval intelligence officer who unknowingly embark on simultaneous undercover mob investigations. Nothing spins comedy gold like bureaucratic ineptitude. The script was adapted by Blake Masters and subsequently rewritten by Wahlberg's Fighter buddy David O. Russell, who had originally intended to helm the project. Vince Vaughn is also attached to star.
