Wall Street TV analysts to face new rule


HOLLYWOOD - The National Association of Securities Dealers has proposed a new rule that would require business analysts to disclose possible conflicts of interests when they discuss their stock recommendations on TV, radio and in public appearances. Reporting on the proposed rule, Tuesday's New York Times observed that analysts who do not observe it could face censure, fine, suspension or expulsion from the industry.
