Did The Hangover Part II cause brain damage? That's what a stuntman who was injured during the film's Bangkok shoot is alleging. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Scott McLean was playing Ed Helms' stunt double during a car-chase sequence when "the speed of his vehicle be increased significantly to a speed unsafe for the stunt, thus resulting in a major collision." As a result, McLean incurred serious brain injuries that are considered "likely permanent." The suit is seeking damages from the film's studio, Warner Bros., as well as its stunt coordinator, Russell Solberg.
The Hangover Part II, released in May, was this summer's top-grossing comedy, tallying over $580 million worldwide despite scathing reviews.
