Justin Bieber was the star attraction during NBC’s annual live broadcast of the Christmas tree lighting ceremony at Rockefeller Center last night. And while the teen star's live performances were a big hit, fans were most excited to watch the premiere of his All I Want For Christmas Is You video, featuring the ever-talented Mariah Carey. But as great as the original song truly was, I need to be honest and say the updated version is not only awful, but highly risqué as well.
Throughout the course of the video, Mariah -- dressed in a sexy Santa suit -- flirts and makes eyes at the 17-year-old singer, who looks just young enough to be her own son. But perhaps it's just me. Maybe I feel this way because I'm always partial to the original classics rather than the sloppy remakes, or maybe I just find the whole cougar relationship innately creepy (he's just a baby, Mariah!), but this was just all kinds of awful. I'm sorry, but no amount of Bieber Fever can save this video. Actually, that's probably not true since I'm sure a swarm of teenage girls are fawning over this clip right now, but before you start sharpening your pitchforks in my honor, at least watch the video below.
