Knock knock, Pixar. Someone else is nudging their way to the top of the animation world.
DreamWorks, a.k.a. the folks who brought Megamind and How To Train Your Dragon to life, is preparing to release the sequel to the animated film that helped jumpstart their recent success. Kung Fu Panda 2: The Kaboom of Doom is set to release on May 27, 2011.
Again, Jack Black reprises his role as the lovable, clumsy panda named Po. But, from the trailer, we're not quite sure what he's up to this time around (considering about 15 seconds of the 60 second trailer is spent staring at Po's eyes). One thing is for sure though: renditions of "Kung Fu Fighting" playing behind an overweight panda acting like he's doing kung-fu will never cease to be hilarious.
