HOLLYWOOD - Troubled star Amy Winehouse has agreed to go into rehab if she fails to quit drugs over the Christmas period, according to reports.
The "Back to Black" singer was pictured with the residue of a white substance in her nose on the way to a gig last week--sparking rumors she was back on drugs despite claims by after pal Pete Doherty she had cleaned up her wild ways.
And Winehouse has vowed to check into exclusive London clinic The Priory in the new year if she fails to end her alleged drug habit, despite her condemnation of rehabilitation facilities--as documented in 2006 hit "Rehab."
A source tells British newspaper the Daily Star, "Amy has always been against rehab, but her family and friends are working on getting her to do it.
"She has promised to consider going to The Priory if she doesn't get clean over Christmas."
Last week, Winehouse's incarcerated husband Blake Fielder-Civil urged the singer to check into rehab after kicking his drug habit in jail.
His mother, Georgette Civil, says, "He (Blake)’s already stopped taking drugs. He's missing Amy desperately and he wants her to get help. He has told her she needs to go into rehab."
Fielder-Civil, 25, is currently being held in London's Pentonville Prison prison following his arrest earlier this month on suspicion of perverting the course of justice in relation to a charge of grievous bodily harm.
