HOLLYWOOD - Amy Winehouse has been arrested on suspicion of possession and import of marijuana in Bergen, Norway.
The British singer, 24--who is currently on tour in the Scandinavian country--was arrested along with her husband Blake Fielder-Civil at the Hotel Norge on Thursday night, after local authorities were tipped off by staff about the smell of marijuana coming from their suite.
The police raid found seven grams of the drug in their hotel room.
The "Rehab" star and Fielder-Civil have now been released after each being fined 500 euro ($696).
Lars Morten Lohte, an attorney for the Bergen police, says, "She spent a few hours in custody from Thursday evening to early Friday, she got a fine and then she was released. The case is over for us."
Winehouse's legal trouble was thought to have thrown her concert at the Peer Gynt Salen on Friday night into doubt--but local organiser Bergen Live claims the gig will go ahead as planned.
Spokesman Frank Nes says, "We're planning as if nothing has happened."
Winehouse's battle to kick her drug habit has been highly publicized--she spent a brief spell in rehab after being admitted to a London hospital in August following a reported drug overdose.
