HOLLYWOOD - British singer Amy Winehouse credits husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, for saving her life after collapsing from a drug overdose.
The troubled star, 24, was rushed to a London hospital in August after a night of heavy partying.
And she insists she wouldn't have made it if it wasn't for her husband of five months, Fielder-Civil.
She says, "I really thought I was on the way out. My husband Blake saved my life, brought me into the hospital.
"Often I don't know what I do. Then the next day the memory returns. Blake told me later what had happened and then I was engulfed in shame."
