HOLLYWOOD - Troubled British singer Amy Winehouse has been admitted to rehab following her recent hospitalization, according to reports.
The 23-year-old was rushed to University College Hospital (UCLH) in London on Wednesday after suffering from "severe exhaustion."
But British tabloids are hinting that her illness may have been caused by alcohol and drugs instead, with the Daily Mirror claiming she checked into exclusive London clinic The Priory on Thursday to battle her demons.
Her father-in-law admits Winehouse has problems, revealing his son Blake Fielder-Civil has voiced concerns on several occasions.
Lance Fielder says, "He (Blake) told me he was very worried about her. He admitted they both drank and did drugs but that came as no surprise.
"It (the hospital) was brought on by all her excesses. Yes, work is one of them, but there's the drink and drugs too.
"She's got to get a grip on her self before it's too late."
